Budget Configuration

Allow Multiple Contracts per Budget Line
When enabled this will allow multiple contracts to be raised against each budget line item.
Contracts types that can be raised against each budget line include:
- CTR: Contract
- PO: Purchase Order
A claim will only include items from the related contract and its variations.
Budget line item calculations will reflect all contracts and variations linked to the budget line.
Here is an example where Multiple Contracts have been linked to the same budget line.

When enabled you can link contracts to multiple budget line items.Â
Include Claimable Variations on Account (VOA) in Approved Variations
When ticked the approved variations in your budget will include VOAs.
Show Forecast Final Cost as Approved Budget Amount if there are no Commitments or Forecasts
If ticked, when there are no commitments or forecasts against a budget line, the approved budget for that budget line will include the forecast final costs.
Columns in Budget Settings
Enabled - Tick or untick Enabled to view or not view these columns on your budget. Â
Order - Click and hold on the Up and Down Arrow to order the columns.
Title - Click in the title to edit the description.
Added a button to Approve the Budget to save the numbers into Previous Variance. (Restricted to Budget Module Admins)
Cost To Complete Calculation Column
Cost To Complete Calculation Column: A new column has been added to the Budget form to display the CTC (Cost to Complete) calculation. To add it to the budget form, enable it from budget settings. Cost To Complete is an indicator of cost of work remaining for that line item. Having this on the budget offers greater visibility of cost management.
After switching on Cost To Complete column in Budget Settings, users will be able to see it here.
Tender Packages Column
This is also enabled from 'Budget Settings'. This column allows Tender Packages to appear as a Forecast column and be included within the Forecast Final Cost amount. This feature only applies to issued tender packages (Open Status) that are not closed (Accepted or Awarded). It is applicable in both linked and normal budgets.Â
This column helps better forecast cost variance that could affect the project.
Displaying additional Budget Values in the BudgetÂ
You can display values other than 'approved budget amount' for a budget link. Here is the way to report on more values :Â
Step 1 : Go to Budget link user field, in under section for 'General'
Step 2 : Under Display drop down the menu bar to see all the values you can add to receive a report on.
In the example below, 'contract amount' has been selected.Â
Step 3 : Got to a budget line item and you will see the display value you selected as a column (i.e. Contract Amount in this case)
