User Field Split
Note : security needs to be configured in the original form’s user field. i.e. If splitting from a template to a checklist then the security must be set on the template form type
Split option allows your to manage how user field information is carried forward to another form type when splitting the form.
When splitting the form, you can either
opt to have user field information carried forward (i.e. copied to the split form)
or you can opt to not have it carried forward (i.e. split form will show user field as blank)
Below are the options available and they apply to both Forms and List tables in the forms :
Configuration in original form user field | Expected Result in split form user field |
---|---|
If Split = Yes And Check security = On | Then: Values will only be carried forward if you have edit rights in the destination form type |
If Split = Yes And Check security = Off | Then : Values will be carried forward even if you do not have edit rights |
Split = No | Values will not be carried forward |
