Bulk Update Folder Permissions

You can add users and change folder permissions in bulk using this advanced tool in Settings.

To access this page you must be a Project or Publication Space Administrator

Access View/Edit Permissions

1. Go to configure.

2. Click Modules.

3. Click Publication Space.

Or

4. Under Publication Space Module click Settings.

5. Click on the Reports tab.

6. Click on the View/Edit Permissions button.

Add User Permissions

1. Click on Add/Edit User Permissions.

2. On the pop up window search for the user you want to add (You can add only 1 user at a time).

3. Click Next.

4. On the next screen select the folders you want to add the user to.

5. Click Next.

6. The next screen will show you all the folders you've selected.

7. To change the permission for all the folders drag the permission indicator to the right as required. It will then automatically update all the folder permissions to be the same. 

Please note that because permissions are inherited - if you change the permissions at a top level - the lower levels permissions cannot be changed and will be shown as greyed out.

8. To change the permissions of individual folders that you've selected, simply move the permission indicator for that folder. 

9. Once you are happy with the settings click Save.

Edit User Permissions of an Existing Folder

1. On the folder screen click on the Edit button next to the folder you would like to update.

2. From the select user field next to the users name choose the level of permission.

3. Then click Save.

Edit Folder Permissions for Group or Company 

Go to PS settings --> Under Reports --> Click 'View/Edit Permissions' and then in the right corner you have 'Add/Edit User permission'

In the drop down menu first you see individual users

Then as you scroll down, you see Company or Groups
