Select and Import a Tender Database from Another Project

With RIB CX you have the ability to select and import a Tender Database from another project as long as you satisfy the following criteria

The user who is setting up the tender database is a tender admin on both projects.

The email address of your RIB CX account is the same on both project

For eg

John Mcallister is a tender admin in Project A

John Mcallister is also a tender admin in Project B

In project A John's email is johnm@abc.com.au with a user id of ABC-JM

In project B John's email is johnm@abc.com.au with a user id of DEF-JM

Noting that here John is under 2 different companies in 2 different projects but sharing his email address. Hence he can now select and import any Tender DB's under Company DEF from Proj B into company ABC in Project A or vice versa.

  1. Click on the Tenders Module in the Menu.

  2. Click on Tender Project Settings on the Tenders dashboard.

  3. Then Click in the Tender Database select user field.

  1. A list of existing databases you have access to (based on the criteria above i.e. tender admin + email address) will appear in the drop down.

  2. Select the database you want to use.

  3. If the database belongs to another company, a warning message will appear in red.

  1. Once you select the database this will be linked with the current company.

Please note that updating this database will update all projects that is sharing this database.
