Parallel Workflows
What is a Parallel Workflow?
Parallel Workflows are set up by Administrators. Click here.
A parallel workflow allows you to conduct a document review where 2 or more reviews can happen in parallel to each other. Each of these reviews are independent of each other.
Parallel Workflow in Use
When you are a reviewer of a parallel workflow, the workflow screen will show all reviewers.Â
The parallel steps are shown as below with the step you are a part of shown as Active.
If you have the rights to see what other reviewers are doing in a parallel step you can click on the reviewers name to see the results.
Delegating a Parallel Workflow Step
To delegate documents that are in a parallel workflow:
Click on Review Tools and select Delegate.
Choose which Step you want to delegate to another user and click Done.
Parallel Step Restriction:
Delegation to a user within the same parallel step is not allowed to prevent conflicts.
Workflow Admins can delegate documents on behalf of users on a parallel workflow. Simply open the workflow, select the step and then who you want to delegate to.
Skip Parallel Step for One User
You must be a Workflow Administrator in order to skip a step.
As a reviewer, you can skip a step in parallel workflow.
When skipping a parallel step in a workflow, RIB CX allows you to skip the step for just one user within that parallel step.
Allows individual user steps to be skipped without affecting other reviewers.
Users must still provide a reason before skipping that step.
 To Skip workflow step:
Go to the WTX.
Click Review Documents.
Click Review Tools.
Select Skip Step.
Pick a verdict.
Type in a reason for skipping the step.
When you skip a step a summary of the review will be sent.Â
When a Workflow is Completed
When the workflow has been completed the summary page will list the verdicts/comments/markup information from the parallel steps as shown below.
