Create a Design Review Issue
Create a Design Review Issue In a Workflow
Design Review Issues (DRI) can be logged from the Markup button or the Review Online button.
From the workflow screen click on the Start Online Review or markup Button.
Either of these will load the drawing preview with the markup toolbar.
Create a Design Review Issue Outside of a Workflow
To log a DRI outside of a workflow.
Navigate to publication space and the drawing you want to markup.
On the Toolbar click on the markup button.
Using a Call Out
Click on the Call Out icon shown in the image below. This will create a DRI for a specific area on the drawing.
When a callout is drawn, the DRI title and the "Further Details" field are populated. Draw a callout where the DRI is.
If there are required custom fields configured for your form (refer here for configuration), a popup window appears. Fill in the details.
Once you have completed your review by choosing a Review Verdict, the DRI will be recorded in the markup area.
You can add any markup before or after you create the DRI.
The DRI is created and can be found in the Issue tab on the right-hand side of the preview window.
Using the Log Issue Button
As per above, this time click on the Log Issue button. This will log a DRI for the whole drawing.
This Design Issue will not create a Layer.
The new DRI will appear as a pop up.
Save and Close the DRI. It can be found in the Issues Tab on the right-hand side of the preview window.
Advanced Mode DRI
When the Design Issue process is set to Advanced by your administrator, any markups done before you draw a call out markup will be put into a single Design Issue.
As an example you could add an arrow, a circle and then a callout markup. This creates a single Design Issue with all 3 markups.
Notice the full toolbar is available to you now.
Add the markups as required.
Then draw the call out the markup.
This will then create the Design issue automatically.
