How to Create a New Lite Project
Overview
RIB CX Lite was designed as a corporate solution for document and correspondence management and sharing. It is typically used for smaller projects or projects which are in the planning or pre-award stage.
RIB CX Lite allows the host company to create and manage a number of projects using a Master. For each project created, an unlimited number of external consultants can be added.
They are provided secure access and can log in to retrieve all information issued to them. They are able to download drawings and reply to correspondence but generally cannot create document transmittals or correspondence.
RIB CX Lite has the ability to choose uploaders i.e. companies with the ability to upload documents to the RIB CX. There can only ever be 2 companies set as uploaders at any one time but these can be changed as required. Anyone on the contacts list for a project can be nominated as an uploader.
How to Create a Lite Project
1. Click on the cog icon in the Project Tool Bar.
2. Click on RIB CX Admin.
3. Click on Create Project.
Fill in General Details
1. Fill in the General Details - Project Number and Project Title.
2. Keep the template the same as the Project you are creating the Lite Project from.
3. Decide which items to copy across into the new project form the template
- Contact in contact register - copies the contact list.
- Document register - copy folder structure in register - copies the publication space folder structure.
- Document register - copy folder structure and documents in register - copies the publication space folder structure and documents therein.
- Distribution rules - copies distribution rules.
- Distribution lists - copies distribution lists.
- Workflows - copies workflows.
Fill in Admin Details
1. Start and End Dates.
2. Project Value.
3. Any other comments.
4. Click Create Project.
