BIM Module Overview

To set up BIM on RIB CX you need to have the module activated in your project.

To do this contact your RIB CX Account Manager or Consultant.

Once it is set up you will see the BIM Module in the menu. It is titled, 3D BIM.

From here you will need to configure a 3D BIM form type (refer to How to Create Model Document Type). This is what you will use to upload your model file.

You can have more than one 3D BIM form type set up on your project, which means that you can have more than one BIM model uploaded to your project.

Once this has been set up, you are ready to upload your model file (refer here).
