Use a Favourite to Capture a Defect

Another way to quickly create Defects is to create a Short cut to the New Defects form.

On the App we call this a Favourite.

In this section we will focus on:

• Creating a Favourite for the new Defect form.
• How to use the Favourite to create a new Defect.

Creating a Favourite for a Defect Form

To create a shortcut or Favourite for the New Defect form;

1. Go to the Modules tab.

2. Click on the Defects Module.

3. Select the Defects document type.

4. After the Defect list has loaded, click on the star icon on the bottom left of the screen.

5. From here select Pin Create as Favourite.

6. Then give your Favourite a name - let's call it Create New Defect.

7. Click Continue.

8. You will now be directed to the Favourites tab, on this tab you will see your new Favourite.

Creating a New Defect Using Your Favourite

1. Go to Favourites tab.

2. Tap on the "Create New Defect" Favourite.

3. A new Defect form will be loaded.
