Share a List of Defects with Subcontractors
With the RIB CX Defects Management system, it is possible to set up an automatic share list of all defects.
These lists can be issued to the Subcontractors at an interval determined by the Defects Manager e.g. weekly, daily etc.
How to Configure a Shared List
From the Defects Dashboard:
Click Share.
Click Add New Share
The share a list window will open.
Set the Criteria for Sharing
Fill in the Share Criteria.
Give your shared list a name.
Add a message to the default text box.
As we have done this from the Defects dashboard we can only select Defect.
Click on the 3 dots and choose your recipient(s). i.e. who you want the email to go to.
Select the criteria. As we are setting up an outstanding defects list to be sent to a particular trade we have selected:
Status equal to OUTSTANDING
Trade Responsible equal to CONCRETE KERBING.
Set the Schedule
Fill in the Scheduling
f. Select how often you want the emails to be sent.
g. What date do you want the schedule to start?
h. What time do you want the email to be sent?
i. How long do you want the schedule to run for?
Start Sharing
Click on Start Sharing.
