Search for Specific Defects via Breadcrumb Browsing

On the Defects Dashboard, users can search for defects using Breadcrumb browsing.

How to Access Breadcrumb Browsing

1. From the Menu click Defects.

2. From the Defects Dashboard click Browse Defect at the top.

From here you can search on a number of different things such as:

Defect Status
Location
Trade

The options you get to search on are customisable according to your projects needs. Speak to your Account Manager or Administrator about how to set it up.

To Search by Status

1. Select Status and pick a Status.

2. And click Search.

Add More Criteria to Your Search

1. Select an option from the left-hand side of the drop down.

2. Then select a value.

3. Click Search.

You can add as many criteria to your search as you want from the options available to you on your project.

To Change a Value Selected

1. Click on the Value already shown in the Breadcrumb eg: Status Issued for Repair.

2. And select the new value you need.

3. Click Search.

Use Your keyboard for Selections

Breadcrumb browsing also allows you to use your keyboard arrow keys to navigate the search options.

1. Use the up and down arrows to navigate to the Option and Value that you need.

2. Then Press Enter to make the selection.
