Portfolio budgets are supported for simple commitment budgets i.e. one contract per budget line item.

If you are managing large portfolios of work you'll benefit from using Portfolio Roll Up Budgets. This special function allows you to roll up other budgets into line items in a portfolio budget.

To Create a Portfolio Budget

  1. Create a new budget.

  2. Give the budget a descriptive name.

  3. Address the budget to the relevant parties for access.

  4. Choose an open status.

  5. Click Insert Portfolio.

  6. Choose which project the budget is on.

  7. Choose which budget you'd like to insert.

  8. Repeat until all budgets are inserted.

  9. Click Submit.
