Understand the Document Layout
Now that you have opened a document, here is brief explanation of what you are looking at.
An RIB CX Document is broken down into 4 tabs.
- Details
- Form
- Attachments
- Related
The Details Tab
This tab captures all the basic information about the document.
- Title
- Reference
- Issue Date
- Status
- Author
- Action Users
- Info Users
It also includes the comment history. The comment history is all the replies and comments added by the users on your RIB CX Project about this document overtime.
You can also add your own comment on this tab. To learn how to do this click here.
The Form Tab
The form tab displays all the user fields that need to be completed on your document. User fields are Custom defined fields and values that are relevant to your project.Â

The Attachment Tab
This tab displays all the attachments that have been uploaded to this document.Â
Additionally you can open and view these attachments directly using the app.
You are also able to attach image attachments to from your own device or take a new photo and upload it as well.

The Related Tab
The related tab give you access to  the documents that are linked to the document you are on.Â
On RIBÂ CX, these documents are displayed in the Linked section.
You can tap on a related document to view its details and click back to get back to the original document.
