Creating Test Requests from the Lot

The LOT form is used to manage quality requirements for a section or Lot of work. All Test Requests should be created from the relevant LOT or associated back to it if created independently.

To create a Test Request through the browser, follow the steps below.

1. Access the LOT from which you wish to create a Test Request and click Respond/Reply on the bottom of the form.

 2. When the response window opens, click the inline form selector to display the list of documents available to create.

 3. Select Test Request.

 4. A new Test Request will be created and shows inline against the Task. Click Submit to complete the form. When the preview displays, click on the link to open the Test Request.

 5. When the Test Request opens it will be pre-addressed to the person who created the form. Any like fields will be copied over from the LOT including Work Lot Details and Acceptance Criteria.

 6. Click Respond to complete the form.

 7. When the Test Request opens, add the relevant Action person.

8. In Test Request Details, select the Test Type using the dropdown selector and add any testing criteria. In schedule, add the start date and time details.

9. Once you have finished adding details, click Submit to issue.
