Only Budget, CA Project Admins or Contract Author’s Company can release retentions. Click here for more information.

The Contract will need to be in an Open Status to complete the retention release.

  1. Respond to the Contract and check the box 'release retention'.

If this is the final claim you will also want to change the retention amounts to 0%
Otherwise the next claim raised will still calculate retention even though it's allowed to be claimed back.

  1. The next claim raised will allow amounts to be claimed against the retention held.
