Lock and Unlock a Contract
You can lock down a Contract so that no more changes can be made.
To Lock Down a Contract
Once a contract status has been changed to a closed status, the contract line items are no longer editable.
This can only be performed by users with permission to access the closed status on the contract.
Click respond on the Contract you want to lock down.
Change the status to the Closed Status type. Depending on your project this may be called Executed or something else.
Make Changes to a Contract
Once a contract has been moved to Closed status, you can no longer add or edit its line items.
To adjust costs or cancel existing line item, you will need to raise a Variation.
