Meet the new List View

We are making some big changes to our list views this year and this release acts as the foundation for these key changes. Our list views - or register views - for all form types have a brand new look. These changes also extend to saved searches.

Updated Inline Edit Controls

Inline edit controls have been upgraded with a better user experience.

Checkbox selections as simple options

A checkbox user field will be shown as a simple set of options that you can select to add to the form.

Cascading field interface change

The cascading field will now be shown in as an expandable set of options ( a tree view)

You should also see an uptick in performance when loading your lists. We hope you enjoy these changes and that it will make working with lists a better experience. Additional features such as filtering on the grid columns as well as the ability to customize your register views will roll out over the course of the year.

Select multiple options in Cascading User Fields

We've added support for selecting more than one value in a cascading user field. Here's how it works.

In the config for a cascading user field, there is now an "Allow Multiple" option.

Once this is turned on you will be able to select from one of 2 options.

1. Simple mode

2. Advanced mode

In Simple Mode - you will only be able to select multiple cascading values at the last level.

In Advanced mode - you will be able to select the values at parent and sub levels.

The look of a cascading user field has also changed. It now resembles a tree structure that you expand to find the value that is needed.

Logging changes on Project Details

Changes made on the project details page are now captured in our standard history logs.

Logging changes made to Saved Searches

With this release, changes made to a saved search will be logged under the new history log.

Report on documents created by a Saved Search

You will now be able to see the execution history of saved searches that run on a schedule.

This report will display a list of all the times this schedule ran and record all forms that were created as part of running the schedule.

A "Show Retired" button has been added to display any deleted folders under correspondence.

When clicked it will display the retired folders in a crossed-out state.

When renaming a user field you now have the option to link the new code with the form or to unlink the new code from the form.

If you choose to unlink the user field from the form you can recreate a new user field with the old code and it will automatically link it with the form.

Apply Notification settings across projects

As a user, you will now be able to set your notification settings as required and apply those same settings to all projects that you are registered under.

Note that your registered accounts on multiple projects will need to be associated with the same email address.

To do so, set your notification settings to your desired options

Then tick the apply to all projects option

Click Save

Set default notifications for new users

As an Administrator, you can now customize the default notifications a new user added to a project will inherit.

There are two ways you can do this.

Lock the fields you wish to copy across

Then click on the Save

On the pop up that is shown, tap on Save and Create New

This will save the existing form and automatically create a new form with the values from the original form copied across.

Better interface for managing Conflicts

A conflict can occur when the data on the app and the online version of iTWO cx is not the same. When this happens the user will be provided with a pop-up with the option to select which values he would like to save for that particular form.

With this release, when a conflict occurs, a pop-up will automatically be shown to alert the user of the conflicts that have occurred.

Additionally, if there are unresolved conflicts, the Conflict pop-up will be automatically shown when the user logs in to the app.

Support for Multiple Lists

The iTWO cx app previously had a limitation when it came to the number of List controls that are could be shown on a form. With this release, we have removed this restriction so that any number of list controls configured on the form will also be shown on the app.

When multiple list controls are configured, the List tab will show you the number of lists available.

Simply select the list you want to edit to access it.

Support for selecting multiple options in Cascading User Fields
