Layout Overview
The RIB CX screen is divided into four sections:
Project Toolbar
Modules Frame
List Frame
Details Frame
Project Toolbar
The Project Toolbar contains icons which allow you the quick access to create new documents, contacts, search and logout.
Modules Frame
The Modules Frame lists modules available to you and allows you to navigate between those modules.
Click the to Minimise the Main Menu for more space.
Notifications Frame
The Notifications Frame displays your Notifications and Hotlist.
1. You can change the number of notifications you would like displayed per page. Once changed this setting will be saved for you.
Details Frame
The Details Frame shows the details of an item you select from the List frame, e.g. if you select an item from General Correspondence, then the Detail preview frame will display that item of correspondence.
Customise Your Home Page
The Customisable Home Page in RIB CX introduces a personalised home page experience, allowing users to tailor their home page to their specific needs. This enhancement provides quick access to the most relevant information and tools.
Responsive Layout:
Clicking items from the Hotlist or Notifications opens the form in a right-hand for quick access.
The home page will reorganise it self automatically to fit the widgets as needed
User-specific homepages are saved globally across all projects and override Admin-defined homepages.
Users can reset their dashboards to the admin-defined system layout.
Edit Home Screen Dashboard
Click on Edit in the top right-hand corner.
2. Configure the layout by resizing the widgets and saving custom setups.
Add widgets to customise your view.
Supported Widgets
Dashboard widgets—such as Count, Graph, 2-D, and Label widgets can be added directly to users' home page, giving teams immediate visibility into key project metrics and making it easier to track progress without extra navigation. Supported widgets are:

When editing your home page dashboard for the first time you will need to click on EDIT then SAVE and then EDIT again in order to see the NEW tab.
Cross-Project Summary Widget
Previously, users managing tasks across multiple projects had to manually navigate between projects to track their pending notifications or hotlist items, making task management cumbersome and inefficient. A Cross-Project Summary widget for the home page, enables users to quickly identify and manage their tasks from multiple projects in one centralised location.

Users can add the Cross-Project Summary widget to their personalised home page layout.
Displays a summary list of projects with outstanding Notifications or Hotlist items.
Columns Displayed:
Project Name (Code)
Notifications (clickable link)
Hotlist (clickable link)
Link Behaviour:
Clicking the numbers under Notifications or Hotlist opens the specific project in a new tab, directly at the relevant page.
Visibility and Interaction
Only projects with at least one notification or hotlist item are displayed.
Shows a clear message ("No projects with notifications or hotlist items") if there are no items to display.
Pagination applies after 10 projects, enabling easy navigation through multiple pages.
Users can sort the widget table by any displayed column.
Users can the list filter by each header.
Favourites Widget
The Favourites widget can be added to your home page. This favourite widget provides instant visibility and access to frequently used Saved Searches, Reports, Folders, Documents, and Forms. Refer here for how to add favourites Favourite
Columns Displayed
Description: Clearly identifies each favourite item by:
Saved Search: Saved Search description
Report: Report name as listed in the menu
Publication Space Folder: Folder name
Document: Document Number - Title
Form: Reference - Title
Type: Indicates the item type along with an associated icon.
Interactivity and Access
Clicking on an item opens the favourite in a new browser tab.
Favourite Management from Widget
When hovering over a favourite item, a filled star icon appears, indicating the item is a favourite.
Clicking the star icon allows users to remove the item from favourites:
Sorting, Filtering, and Pagination
Default Sort: Items are sorted by creation date, with the most recently favourited items at the top.
Supports manual sorting by users.
Pagination displays a maximum of 10 favourites per page.
Filtering options include:
Search by Description (contains search)
Type Filter (dropdown selection to filter by item type)
Reset to System Layout
To reset back to the system layout, click on the "Reset to System Layout" button.
