By default when a document is downloaded, RIB CX downloads the filename it was originally uploaded as.
You can change this by going to Publication Space > Settings > Numbering.
When you change this to Default(uploaded file name), it will download the document with it's default name (i.e. name at the time of upload).
When you change this to Document Number [ Revision ] Title.extension, it will download the document with the filename of doc#[rev]title
Custom Text Field :
You can also customise the file name of the documents downloaded from publication space with :
- Custom Text Field. extension - When you change to this, the downloaded file will be named your Custom Text Field followed by '.' and then extension number
- Custom Text Field [ Revision ]. extension - What you change to this, the downloaded document will be named Custom Text Field [ Revision ].extension
Once either of these options are selected, you must pick from a list of text fields in the publication drop menu in the file name.
