1. Go to Configure and Form Types.
2. Select Import.
3. Select the Project you want to copy the new form from:
Only the projects that you have access to will appear in the drop down list.
4. Place a tick in the checkbox o the form type you wish to import.
The colours in the status column tells you what is going to happen when you import that form into your project.
Red - Means the form you are importing exists in your project and therefore will overwrite the form in your project.
Grey - Means that the form does not exist in your project therefore if you choose to import it then it will be a new form on your project.
Blue - Means the form in your project is retired, therefore if you choose to import the form it will restore and overwrite the one in your project.
5. Refer here for more information regarding common user fields.
If you want the common user fields to be imported, place a tick in the box "Include Common UserField".
If this option is ticked:
- the common user fields will import as normal user fields (you will need to make them common in your project if you require).
- retired common user fields:
- will not be retired when imported if your project has same code user field already in use.
- will be retired when imported if your project has the same code user field but it is not in use, or already retired.
- will be retired when imported if your project does not have a user field with the same code.
6. You can give the form a new code. eg if importing BGT you may want the new code to be BGTSALES.
7. Choose what you want to copy across when you import the form. Toggle off the items you do not want to copy over in the import process.
