With the release of the Publication Space release, Transmittals have taken a back seat.

On iTWOcx projects that are using the Register for their document management, Transmittals were the core feature around which all things related to your document's revolved.

Now, the Transmittals (TX), while still generated in the background when any action is taken on the Publication Space, they are more of a record-keeping tool than what is used to interact with the Document Management process in the Publication Space.

How to view your Transmittals

To view the Transmittals for your project;

1. Go to Publication Space on the menu.

2. Expand the Transmittals option.

3. This will now show all the Transmittal types that are available for your project.

4. Click on the type you wish to view.

5. This will then list all the Transmittals for that type in the middle screen.

6. Click on the one you wish to view and the Transmittal contents will be shown on the right-hand screen.

Different types of Transmittals

DBDN: Download Record

This type of TX is generated automatically by the system when a user downloads documents from a Transmittal.

DRI: Design Review Issue

This type of transmittal is generated when a user logs a new Design Review Issue.

DTX: Distribution TX

TX: Transmittal

This type of Transmittal is generated whenever a document is uploaded to the system, and whenever a document is manually distributed to a user.
