Using an upload Template

What is an Upload Template?

An upload Template lets you fill out the metadata for a document or Documents with a saved template of values for the configure Fields on the Upload page.

To apply the values in a template you select the document and apply the saved template 

How to Create an Upload Template

1. Upload a document by dragging and dropping it or browse and attach

2. Click Bulk Edit

3. Fill in the information for the User Fields as needed for the template you'd like to save

4. Click Save Upload Template

5. Give the template a name

6. If you would like overwrite an existing template tick the checkbox and select the template to overwrite

7. Select who can apply the Template

8. Select whether zipped files should always be unzipped 

9. Click Save


How to use an Upload template

To use a saved Upload Template

1. Upload your documents

2. Then click Bulk Edit

3. And select the upload Template you want to apply

4. Then select;

5. Apply to Selected - Will apply the template values to the selected documents ONLY

6. Apply to All Documents - Will apply the template values to all the documents on the upload page.
