Another way to quickly create Defects is to create a Short cut to the New Defects form

On the App we call this a Favorite.

In this section we will focus on;

• Creating a Favorite for the New Defect form and;
• How to use the favorite to create a new Defect.

Creating a Favorite for a Defect form

To create a shortcut or Favorite for the New Defect form;

1. Go to the Modules tab
2. Click on the Defects Module
3. Select the Defects document type
4. After the Defect list has loaded
5. Click on the star icon on the bottom left of the screen
6. From here Select Pin Create as Favorite
7. Then give your Favorite a name - let's call it Create New Defect
8. Click Continue
9. You will now be directed to the Favorites tab
10. On this tab you will see your new Favorite

Creating a New Defect using your Favorite

1. Go to Favorites tab
2. Tab on the New Defects Form favorite
3. A new Defect form will be loaded.
