Allow Company Codes to be in the Transmittal Reference Number
You can display the From and To Company codes in the Upload Transmittal (TX) and/or the Distribution Transmittal (DTX)reference numbers.
The option can be found in Publication Space Settings>Transmittals
Then tick either From or To or both as required.
Allow User Fields to be in the Transmittal Reference Number
User fields can be selected within the reference number of a Distribution of Upload Transmittal.First, configure TX and / or DTX.
1. Configure the user field that you wish to use as part of your numbering for the distribution transmittals in the Transmittals config page.
Once this is configured, the next time you upload and of the reference number.
2. Put the code of the user field in curly brackets into the Separator field (see above).
3. Next time you upload or distribute documents, the user field value for the field (eg ZONE) will be used as part of the reference number sequence. An example is shown below.
You can see that the user field ZONE has a value of DEF, which has been used in the DTX reference number.
