Any iTWO cx Form or controlled document can have additional fields that allow you to capture and categorise information.

| Text box | Simple text box. |
| Single Select | Drop down list of options. For how to input User Field Options Click Here. |
| Cascading Select | Multi level list that allows you to configure complex structures in a list, eg. Building A/ Level 2 / Apartment 15. For information regarding how to create click here. |
| Date | Adds a Calendar date to the form for example. Milestone 1 - 15-APR-2019. |
Radio | Adds a set of radio options where user can only select one eg. Cost Impact Y / N. For how to input User Field Options Click Here. |
| Checkbox | Adds a set of check-boxes where user can more than one option. For how to input User Field Options Click Here. |
| Contact | Contact picker that allows you to select other project participants. Good for assignment of responsibility. |
| Attachment | This is an additional attachment field on the form. Good for inline attachment of specific files. |
| Form | Advanced field that that creates specific forms and links to the parent form. Good for controlling processes. |
| Number | Like the text box but only allows Numbers. |
| Currency | Like the Number field but adds currency formatting. |
| Attachment List | A special user field type that lets you upload attachments and files to. |
| Document List | A special user field type that can be used to link other iTWO cx Forms as well as supporting the creation of other iTWO cx forms. |
| Budget Link | A special user field that allows you to link to a Budget and a line item within that budget which returns the approved Budget amount of that line item. |
| Bidder Contact List | A special user field that allows you to connect to the Tender Database on your project to fill out a form with bidder details directly from the Tender Database. |
| Coordinate | A special user field that can be used on any form to capture GPS information. Currently this user field only works with the iTWO cx Mobile App. |
| Signature | A special user field that enables users to insert a signature onto a form. |

| Options | Description |

| Code | Specify a unique code for the User Field. The code MUST be entered in UPPER CASE. The code is not normally seen by any users of the system. The code is used to sort the User Fields into an order on the form. |
| Is Common | Tick this if the User Field is common to all forms. This will make the user field appear on all forms. For more information click here. |
| Description | A short description of the User Field, displayed on forms. |
| Prompt | Enter a hint which will pop up when a user hovers over this field on the form. |
| Type | The type of user field, e.g. a text box (TEXT) or select list (SELECT) or radio buttons (RADIO BUTTONS). |
| Size | Where the width (w) and height(h) of the field can be set. Applies to TEXT, SELECT, DATE, CONTACT. Size (w) - where the width of the select list field can be set. The width is determined by the width of the widest item in the list. Setting w = 0 will scale the field to the width of the window displaying the form. Size (h) - where the height of the select list field can be set. Setting h = 1 makes the select list a dropdown list. Setting "h" to a higher number creates a scrolling list. Setting h = 0 will scale the field to fit the window displaying the form. |
| Format | Where you may specify the how field types appear on the form. For Number User Fields choose how many decimal places and whether to have 1000s separator (,). For Select, Radio and Cascading User Fields"
For Contact User Fields choose UserID to display the person's user ID or Name to display the person's name. |
| Default Value | Where you can specify or choose a default value or option for this field. |
| Limits | Text Type User Fields - Where a maximum (Max) and minimum (Min) number of characters the field may contain can be set. Select and Cascading User Fields - Tick the checkbox to allow users to select more than one option. |
| Required | Specify that this field is required. This is also known as Mandatory. |
| Disable on PDA | Specify whether the field should appear on iTWO cx Mobile. |
| Is Mapping User Field | Configure a mapped contact per option in this field (Applicable only to Select, Radio, Checkbox fields). |
| Do Not Automatically Populate this Field When Splitting | Specify whether the field should be automatically populated when the split/custom split/ or Status triggers are set. |
| Calculation | Allows you to perform simple calculations based on the user fields on a list control. |
