From June 2019, there are a number of new options that you can configure for Tender Packages prior to Issuing Packages to support Pre-Package Approval processes.

The Package Config tab in the Wizard is a new Configuration option that allows you to turn on and off a number of features.
Pre-Approval Form
If your Procurement process requires you to obtain Approval prior to Issuing the Tender Package then this option allows you to configure this approval process.

If you tick the Cannot create package through create button, the create Package Button will be disabled.
Requires Package Approval
If a package can only be created once the approval process is completed, then this configuration option will allow you to set up this process. The difference between this config option and the Pre-Approval Form option is that in the previous setting, you can create the package and then request approval before Issuing it.
With this option turned on you must complete the Approval Process prior to even being able to Create the package.
Configure Approval Form type
1. To set this process up, Select enabled.
2. Then select the Form type to use used for the Approval process.
Configure Create Package Toolbar Option
Once you have done this go to this Forms Configuration Page and enable the Create Package Button in the toolbar. To do this go to.

4. Tick the Add a button to Create a Tender Package to the Tool bar option.
Create a Form to start Approval Process
1. Click on the + to create the Form for the Approval process.
2. You will notice the Create Package option in the Toolbar once the Form has been submitted.
3. While the Form is still in an Open status the button will remain disabled.
4. Once the Form is in a Closed (Approved) status the button will become enabled.
5. When you click on the button it will create a new Package in Draft status. A confirmation will be shown with a link to the package.
6. You can access the Draft package by clicking on the Link.
