What is an external Bid?

 

 

An external bid is one a bid you have received from one or more of your bidders outside of the iTWOcx Tenders system. This could be an email or an attachment you have received from one or more of your bidders.

As the " bid " has been sent from outside of the iTWOcx system, the information is disconnected and is not processed by the Tenders module will not be able to process it - which means .  Neither the Tender Dashboard and nor the  Tender Tender Package will not be is updated with the relevant bid details. In effect, you will have information that is disconnected.

However, with iTWOcx Tenders, it capturing this information is easy to capture this information so that it and bid information can be imported into your package to keep all your Package/Bidder details in one place.

How to submit an External Bid

To submit an externally received bid follow the steps below.

Open the relevant package

  1. Go to the Tenders Dashboard
  2. Click on Summary on next to the relevant package (the package you wish to upload the bid to)


  3. Go to the Package Progress Tab

Select Bidders

  1. On the package, progress tab Package Progress Tab select the bidders you wish to submit an external bid for
  2. In From the Bidder Tools drop down, select Submit an External BidsBid

3. The External Bid submission wizard will launch and display the bidder's company and contact

for those you have selected.

5. You are now ready to upload the External

Upload Documents

  1. Click on the Upload button against the relevant Bidder

  2. This The file selector will launch the file selector

  3. Click Select files Select the files you wish to upload or Drag to browse and attach files or simply drag and drop them into to upload documents pop up
  4. Click Done

  1. You will see a count of the documents you have just added next to the Upload button
  2. Click Next
