As part of the Defect Inspection process, you will most likely need to filter your list of Defects based on Status, User Field values or both.

This section will show yow you can how to filter and search for Defects on iTWOcx Mobile.

 

Search the Defect list by Status

  1. Go to Modules
  2. Select the Defects Module
  3. Select Defects Document type
  4. This will load a list of all your Defects
  5. To filter the list
  6. Tap on the Filter icon in the bottom middle of the screen
  7. This will show you a page with different search criteria you can apply to the list
  8. To Filter the list by Status click on the Status row
  9. This will show you a list of the Statuses you can search for
  10. For Inspection purposes we will Select the Status Rectify
  11. Once Rectify is selected Click Search

This will load a list of all the Defects in Status RectifyReady to Inspect


Search the Defect list by User field data (Trade, Location etc)

On the search criteria page (see above how to access this page) you can also add further criteria to your search 

...

  1. Simply tap on the user field you can to filter by
  2. Select the values you want. In this example we are adding a Location and Trade value

  3. This time we will search for 

    Defects in Status - Ready to Inspect

    Location is - Building B

    Trade is - Carpet

  4. And click search

This will load a list of all the Defects based on your search criteria. Note we kept the Filter for Status from before as well.

So this time we have searched for 

Defects in Status Rectify

Location is

Trade is 

 

Search the Defect list by Addressing

Additionally you can also search for documents by who it is addressed to

...

  1. Tap on the Action or Info field
  2. Select the user you want
  3. Click Search

 

Removing Search Criteria

To remove the search filters you have added

  1. Click edit on the Search page
  2. Chose the criteria you want to clear
  3. Click Clear Search criteria

 

Inspecting and Closing out issues

Now that you have filtered down your list to the selections you want you are ready to Inspect and Close out Defects
