Depending on your Project the Progress Payment Certificate(PPC) maybe referred to as the Progress Payment Schedule (PPS). Both forms have the same functionality and differ in name only.

Each Payment SchedulePayment Schedule / Certificate contains a breakdown of the Contract value and adjustments, the total value of work to date (including variations), total retention to date (if applied) and the Payment certified for this claim.

Payment Withheld

To comply with legislation the Payment Schedulethe Payment Schedule / Certificate also highlight highlights the amount claimed, the amount scheduled and the difference as payment withheld. The reason for withholding and line item in question is displayed beneath.
