Using a Shared List to Access Defects Issued for Repair

Subcontractors who are out in the field may not have regular access to the Defects Dashboard.  Don’t worry, when defects are shared with subcontractors via sharing the dashboard (refer here for how to share a dashboard), the subcontractor has access to defect information via their registered email account.  

1. You will receive an email to your registered email address which will have a link on it.

2. Click the link in the email.

3. The register will open.  Note: you do not need to log into RIB CX to access this. 

4. To view or comment on a defect, click on the reference number. The form will appear on the right hand side.  Insert your comment into the quick reply option and click submit. 

5. Once you have repaired the defect, click on click Done. The defect will be actioned to the Defects Manager and the status changed to Ready to Inspect.
