User fields can be selected within the reference number of a Distribution of Upload Transmittal.
First, configure the user field that you wish to use as part of your numbering for the distribution transmittals in the Transmittals config page.
Once this is configured, the next time you upload and distribute documents, the user field value for the field ZONE will be used as part of the reference number sequence. An example is shown below.
You can see that the user field ZONE has a value of DEF, which has been used in the DTX reference number.
This feature only supports user fields with options i.e. Select, Radio, Checkbox.
It excludes Cascading fields.
