With the RIB CX Defects Management system, it is possible to set up an automatic share list of all defects.

These lists can be issued to the Subcontractors at an interval determined by the Defects Manager e.g. weekly, daily etc.

How to Configure a Shared List

From the Defects Dashboard:

1. Click Share

2. Click Add New Share

3. The Share Criteria a List section allows you to configure what triggers the List to be emailed to the Subcontractors. In this example the list has been configured to send to the:

  • Subcontractor based on the mapped user field - Trade. 

when the:

  • Status is ISSUED FOR REPAIR.

4. The Scheduling section lets you configure how frequently you would like to send this List to your Subcontractor.

What Happens When a Shared List is Sent?

Once the list of defects is shared by the defect manager, the subcontractor will receive an email containing a link to that list of defects.

What Does Link Take Me To?

Clicking on the Shared Email link opens up the register of defects that have been sent to you.  Note: you do not need to log into RIB CX to access this.
