Although the LOT form is used to manage quality requirements for a section or Lot of work and all related forms should be created from it, there will be times when it is necessary to create Action Points or Test/Survey Requests whilst out in the field. These forms can then be linked back to the Lot at a later date.

To do this including Hold, Witness and Inspection points should be created from the relevant LOT or associated back to it when creating on the mobile.
To create an Action PointWhen using the RIB CX Quality Module you may be the action person on an Action Point. Although most of the information will be populated when splitting from the LOT, you may need to respond to update fields and progress the workflow. To respond to an Action Point when using the App, follow the steps below.
1.Access the Quality Dashboard and click on the Outstanding Lots widget.
2.When the Outstanding Lot list displays, click on the relevant LOT reference No.
3. The LOT will display in the right hand side of the screen. Click Respond on the bottom of the form.
4. When the response window opens, click the inline form selector, to choose the type of document you wish to create. In this case, an Action Point.
5. A new Action Point will be created and shows inline against the Task. Click the link to open the newly created Action Point.
6. When the Action Point form displays, you will notice that all like information has copied over from the LOT. Click Respond to add Action Point specific detail.
7. When the Action Point opens check or add the following:
- Action: Address the relevant person
- Record Type: Select the type from Hold Point, Inspection Point, Witness Point
- Remarks: Add as necessary
- Schedule: Add the Start Date and Time and the Finish Date and Time.
8. Once details are complete, click Submit to issue to the action person. Login to the relevant project using the App.
2. Your hotlist will display showing items for your action by type.
3. Click on Action Point to access the list of documents.
4. From the list, click on the required Action List.
5. When the details page displays, click Form at the bottom of the screen.

You may need to change the attention of the form using the + icon in collaborators. |
6. On the form tab, make changes or add remarks as required.
7. Click attachments, to add photos from the camera roll or take a new one.
8. Click the paint icon to use reveal mark up tools and red arrow to select mark up option. Once mark up is complete, click Save.
9. The photos will display on the attachment page. Click Save to upload the photo to the form.
