Issue Your First Package with a Confidentiality Agreement

Once the confidentiality agreement has been configured you can issue your package.  (Click here for how to configure the Confidentiality Agreement)

To do so click on Create package on the Tender Dashboard and follow the standard package creation wizard. Add bidders, add documents. (Click here for how to Create a Tender Package)

On the package Package Summary tab Tab you will notice a warning that there are bidders who have not signed the confidentiality agreement.

This just means that there are bidders that you've added who have not signed the Confidentiality Agreement.Image Added

To issue the package click on Issue.

Ignore and Issue Package

Ignore and Issue Package means that you can ignore the warning and continue to Issue the Package. As the message describes, choosing

Choosing this option would mean means that the package will be issued to any the bidders who have already signed and returned the agreementConfidentiality Agreement.

Bidders who have not signed and returned the agreement Confidentiality Agreement will receive an email with the Confidentiality agreement which they Agreement.  They will need to sign and return it before getting gaining access to the drawingsTender Package.

Save and Issue Agreement

You can choose the Save and Issue agreement option if you do not want to send the package to any bidder - regardless of whether they have previously signed the agreement or not - and instead would like to wait until all bidders on the package have signed and returned the agreement before issuing the package to them.

Package means the package is saved as a draft and the agreement is issued.   This is useful if you want to wait for all bidders to return the agreement and then issue the package to all bidders in one go.

Choosing this option means that the package is saved as a Draft and the Confidentiality Agreement is issued to bidders who have not yet signed and returned it.   

Bidders who have signed and returned the Confidentiality Agreement will not be issued the Agreement or the package.

Once all the bidders have returned the signed Confidentiality Agreement then you can issue the package to all bidders.

Removing Bidders from the Package

You can optionally remove bidders from the list by selecting them and clicking the Remove button.

Tracking the Progress your Confidentiality Agreement

On the Dashboard

Once the Confidentiality agreement has been issued you can track its progress through the Tender Dashboard.

We've added a new column to the Main dashboard which shows a count of how many of the bidders on the package have signed and returned the agreement. This will provide a quick overview to you of who has signed the agreement.

For a more detailed breakdown of the progress of the Tender Dashboard, click on the Summary button for the package to view the Progress tab.

This icon is a clickable link which takes you to a detailed look at the Confidentiality Agreement.

  • What the status is for each bidder, whether they've signed and returned the agreement or not.

Issued - TCA is sent to them.

Returned - They signed the copy and returned.

Signed - Estimator has approved.
