The Although the LOT form is created by splitting from an APPROVED ITPused to manage quality requirements for a section or Lot of work and all related forms should be created from it, there will be times when it is necessary to create Action Points or Test/Survey Requests whilst out in the field. These forms can then be linked back to the Lot at a later date.

To create an Action Point, follow the steps below.
1.Access the Quality Dashboard and click on the Approved Inspection Test Plans widget Outstanding Lots widget.
2.When the Approved ITP List DisplaysOutstanding Lot list displays, click on the relevant ITP LOT reference No.
3. The ITP LOT will display in the right hand side of the screen. Click Create Work Lot Respond on the bottom of the form.
4. When the response window opens, click the inline form selector, to choose the type of document you wish to create. In this case, an Action Point.
45. A new LOT form Action Point will be created with a and shows inline against the Task. Click the link to the ITP. All ITP tasks will be carried over to the new LOT form.
N.B: You cannot add new tasks to the LOT. Tasks must be added to the ITP.
5. Address the LOT to the relevant user i.e the person responsible for managing the LOT.
6. Fill out LOT specific information using the customised user fields.
N.B: The Percent Complete user field will automatically populate as tasks on the LOT are ticked off.
7. Once all field information has been added, click Submit to issue the LOT.
open the newly created Action Point.
6. When the Action Point form displays, you will notice that all like information has copied over from the LOT. Click Respond to add Action Point specific detail.
7. When the Action Point opens check or add the following:
- Action: Address the relevant person
- Record Type: Select the type from Hold Point, Inspection Point, Witness Point
- Remarks: Add as necessary
- Schedule: Add the Start Date and Time and the Finish Date and Time.
8. Once details are complete, click Submit to issue to the action person.
