When you have an existing form in iTWOcx and you wish to create a new form with a permanent link back to the original, use the Split function. This will facilitate the creation of the audit trail which will allow you to easily located the source of information in the future if required.

When splitting you can create the same form type i.e. another Request for Information form (as per the image below), or you can choose a different form type like a Site Instruction.

Any like fields are automatically copied across.


1. On the existing document form from which you would like wish to split from, click on the ‘Split’ button next to ‘Respond’

                                                                                                                        

 

2. This will bring up a new window to create a new document in ‘Split’ mode. By default, the new document type will be the same as that from which the split was launched.
You will need to first select the required document type into which you would like to split.
You will then see a message prompt confirming that A new version of the original form will display containing the original text.

If required change the form type by choosing from the Type drop-down list. 

N.B  If you choose a new form type, a message will display confirming you want to leave the page in order to refresh the window .  Click 'Leave this page' to bring up the new correspondence type.
