Often select or cascade user fields will have a number of options to select from, particularly on the Defects or Quality Forms.
In these cases it may be easier to import the user field options. You will need to prepare a TXT file with the options first and then follow the steps below to import.
1. Access the Defects configure page by clicking on Configure in the main menu. Click on Document Types, then click on defect form code DEF.

2. On the form configuration page got to the user field section and click on Edit USR.
3. On the User Field edit page click on the code of the user field you wish to import options for e.g. BBPOS

4. The user field configuration settings will display. Click the Options tab to commence adding options for this user field.
5. When the Options tab opens, click advanced.
6. Click on Browse to locate and select the TXT file containing the options for this user field.
7. Click open to attach file.

8. Click Click replace to import options from the TXT file.
9. A new window will appear to display the options that have been added to the user field.
